This is probably the 37th selfie my husband has watched me take as he waits patiently for us to leave the house. I know first-hand that a cute outfit, good makeup day, and a flawless tan can make you feel unstoppable confidence! It’s an amazing feeling to have this moment, but to me, the greatest gift in the world is being able to help create this experience for my clients. Life is busy, and we can get lost in the daily grind. These moments can sometimes become few and far between. For the time that I share with my clients, it’s a forced pause where you are no longer responsible for others, and you get to focus on self-care. As a professional makeup artist, I have been working in the beauty industry for over twelve years. I graduated from Elegance International School of Professional Makeup Artistry in Hollywood, California and continued my education at Lu Ross in Ventura, California where I earned my estheticians license. After many years of working in the industry and gaining experience in all aspects makeup I have fallen in love with and specialize in bridal makeup. I find joy in helping a bride achieve a photo ready look and helping them look their absolute best! I also take great pride in the fact that brides put their trust in me on one of the biggest days of their lives. I earn that trust with a clean kit, clear and consistent communication, and years of experience and professionalism. I can proudly say I have done makeup for hundreds of weddings at this point in my career. Each one is special to me and it is a true honor to be a small part of someones big day. I never take that gift for granted.
I have given eyebrows to a woman winning her battle with cancer, shared a hug with a bride about to walk down the aisle, and made a thirteen-year-old feel like a princess on her birthday. These moments are what makes me fall more and more in love with what I do, which is help you feel even more beautiful.
